Overview
This policy explains what Arcturus (operated by Arcturus Consulting) collects, how we use it, and who processes it on our behalf. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email, and hashed password. Agent content: the text, documents, website content, and Q&A you add to train your agents. Conversations: messages exchanged with your agents, and any contact details visitors submit through a lead form you enable. Usage data: basic logs and metrics (e.g., message counts) used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use it
We use this data to provide the Service: to chunk, embed, index, and retrieve your content; to generate agent responses; to show you conversations and captured leads; to enforce usage limits; and to secure and improve the Service. We do not sell your data or your content.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We rely on trusted providers who process data only to deliver the Service:
- OpenAI — generates embeddings for your content and (unless you choose another provider) chat responses.
- Anthropic — generates chat responses when you select a Claude model for an agent.
- Render — cloud hosting and the managed database where your data is stored.
- Resend — sends transactional email (verification, password reset).
- Stripe — payment processing, if and when paid plans are introduced.
Content sent to AI providers is used to generate responses for you; we do not permit it to be used to train their public models via our API usage.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You may delete agents, sources, and conversations at any time, which removes the associated content and its embeddings. When you delete your account or on a verified deletion request, we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data. To make a request, contact us at the email below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
